For my first research paper in my Pop Culture class, I wrote my paper on the history of Final Fantasy. I am a huge fan of Final Fantasy games, but in doing my research I learned alot about the game. For instance it was rumored, the designer Hironobu Sakaguchi, named this game Final Fantasy because it was going to be his last game. I also learned the highest selling Final Fantasy game of all time was the seventh installment. You would think after all these years the first one would have sold the most, but it's not even close. Final Fantasy I has sold 1.3 million copies to date, while Final Fantasy VII has sold 9.8 million.
